Mental Health Awareness Week – tackling veteran suicide
In March this year, we held a webinar to discuss the progress and impact of our One Is Too Many programme, part of the Veterans’ Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund.
The Veteran Suicide: One Is Too Many webinar was well attended. We heard from four of the nine funded organisations, who each shared updates on the work they are doing to tackle the challenging issue of veteran suicide.
The discussion, and the work, continues; and as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, we wanted to share a useful online resource we’ve created to share the important work taking place and help to make each of the One Is Too Many projects more accessible to those who need them.
The booklet contains useful links, important contacts and, importantly, we hope could act as a conversation starter when working with or supporting those most in need.
You can download the booklet below.
If you’d like to find to more about the work delivered through the One is Too Many programme you can watch the recording from our Veteran Suicide: One Is Too Many webinar in our Knowledge Network here. However, please be aware that some people may find some of the content sensitive or triggering in nature.
