Forces projects to feature on BFBS radio
Back in August, amidst the challenges and worries of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Trust was keen to inject some positivity into our Forces communities and help support them in the best way we could.
The Forces Communities Together programme, part of the Armed Forces Covenant Fund, awarded more than £859,000 to 100 wonderful projects, each designed to bring a little joy to our Forces communities, whether serving personnel, families or veterans.
We were absolutely thrilled with the range of projects our funding supported – from photography to gardening and canoeing to comedy!
We’ve teamed up with BFBS to bring you the stories of some of these projects and show the positive impact a funding injection can have.
Listen to BFBS radio‘s Totally Connected programme all this week between 10am-1pm to hear direct from some of our projects and the positive activities they’ve been delivering.
