Gary is the former Chief Executive of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, where he served for eight years until retiring in 2024. Before joining the Royal Hospital, he held senior leadership roles at CHS Group in Cambridge, Sanctuary Carr-Gomm, Carr-Gomm, and Providence Row Housing Association, working across services for older people, young people, street homelessness, and supported housing. He has also chaired several national bodies, including the Mental Health Providers Forum and the Revolving Doors Agency.
