Matthew joined the Trust in November 2025 as Director of Finance and Operations. Matthew is responsible for leading the financial management of the Trust, alongside managing all our operational functions, including HR, compliance, and IT.

Matthew is an experienced Chartered Accountant (FCA) who has worked in audit, the telecoms industry and most recently in the charity sector. Matthew has served as a COO, CFO, and as a charity trustee. He has a MSc in Voluntary Sector Management from Bayes Business School’s Centre of Charity Effectiveness and a Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA) from the ICAEW.

Matthew has an understanding of the armed forces community through the experience of close family members and from serving in the Royal Navy after university.
