Trust to host Acute Hospitals programme roadshow
We are excited to announce that we are hosting our first Roadshow for the Supporting Armed Forces in Acute Hospital Settings programme held at the University of Chester on Tuesday 4th April 2023.
The primary theme of the Roadshow will be sustainability, and to assist grant holders with their plans and intentions to sustain the excellent work taking place. It will also provide a great networking opportunity for Armed Forces Advocates into the services within the Veterans’ Network.
We are delighted to be joined by two of the funded projects, who will present at the Roadshow. We’ll also have an update from our programme evaluators, University of Chester, and representatives from the NHS will also attend.
Who is this event for?
This event is open to both those NHS Trusts that received funding through the programme, and other NHS Trusts who have not received funding but would like to learn more about the programme. We also welcome those with projects relating to supporting the Armed Forces in Acute Hospital Settings across the UK who would like to learn more about the Acute Hospitals programme.
- Hear about the positive work taking place so far.
- Learn about the successful engagement and support of vulnerable members of the Forces community in hospital setting.
- Be inspired by those already undertaking this work as a first step to implementing similar processes in your own NHS Trust.
