The Trust hosted a webinar to help launch the findings from an innovative research project undertaken by The Baton and Northumbria University, which worked with bereaved military families to better understand future support and prevention of Veteran suicide.

Following high interest in our previous webinar events, we are happy to announce our next FREE webinar – Veteran Suicide: One Is Too Many, taking place Wednesday 1 March at 11am.
Part of the Veterans’ Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, the One is Too Many programme awarded grants of up to £300,000 to two-year projects that aim to reduce suicide risks within vulnerable veterans in a co-ordinated and targeted way.
Funded through the One is Too Many programme, The Royal Marines Association’s (RMA) project Lifting the Lid – Suicide Prevention Pathways has created improved access to support for both vulnerable Veterans and their families.

On the 11 October 2023, the Trust hosted the One Is Too Many: Suicide Prevention Conference. This impact conference showcased the excellent work taking place by the funded projects, and revealed the findings from the programme evaluation, undertaken by the University of Chester.
