Based at the Bulldogs Boxing & Community Development Centre Port Talbot, Bulldogs Veterans supports Veterans to integrate into civilian life by supporting them to make positive relationships within the community.
In June 2024, the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust hosted a webinar focusing on the new Armed Forces Families Fund: Early Years programme.
Oxford Brookes University were awarded £60,000 in November 2023 for their project Supporting ALL to thrive, a study to develop understanding of how the unique and often complex challenges associated with Service life can affect the educational opportunities, experiences and outcomes of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The Advocacy People received a grant from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust of £19,439 as part of the Local Grants Programme. The grant funded their “Military Integration and Training” project which was held in 2018 – 2019. The project aimed to provide specialist support for veterans in the Devon and Torbay area by organising integration events and awareness training for the veteran community’s employers and civilian frontline delivery staff working with veterans.
