The Trust was honoured to host a suicide prevention conference on 11 October 2023 focusing on our One Is Too Many programme and the impact it has had.
Under the Tackling Loneliness programme and led collaboratively by Carterton Family Centre and RAF Brize Norton, ‘Teatime Club’ was initially awarded £70,000 to deliver a weekly ‘supper and activity’ session for military families from single parent households or families experiencing a deployment.
The Veterans and Families Huboffers a ‘one stop shop’ for Veterans, family members, carers and community members with a connection to the Forces to access support and help them in their transition from military to civilian life.
The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust has jointly funded a study by Northumbria University into food insecurity within the Veteran community.
Day Care Centre, Bright Horizons, based at Leuchars Station (MOD) Scotland, were awarded £79,000 through Armed Forces Families Fund (AF3) Early Years programme in February 2023.
