The Veterans’ Community Centres programme
Veterans’ Community Centres
Electrical repairs, modernising facilities, replacing the roof, installing disabled toilets and much more!
So far, 43 centres have benefited from the Veterans’ Community Centres programme – could your centre be next to receive funding?
Designed to preserve and improve these vital community facilities, those who’ve already applied have found the process simple.
Parwich Royal British Legion Club, who received £4,000 from the fund back in May, told us: “The online process of applying was intuitive and easy to use. I’d definitely recommend other similar clubs to pursue funding for their own needs.”
But time is running out!
The closing date for the final round of funding is 9am, Monday 4 November.
If you’re thinking of applying, but haven’t already submitted your application, then simply click to apply online via our website.
Grants of up to £30,000 are available. Be sure to show us:
– the great ways you’re already supporting and involving veterans at your centre
-that this capital funding will make a real difference to those using your centre
Remember to clearly show us that:
– you’re an Armed Forces charity or CIC already supporting veterans
– you own the building or have a long lease of at least five years
– you’ve thought about the costs involved and your budget represents good value for money
