One Is Too Many: A conceptual framework for safety planning within service delivery for Veterans and their families
A report from The Northern Hub for Veterans and Military Families Research at Northumbria University, has identified new approaches which may help prevent suicide.
The findings come from the report ‘One is too Many: A Conceptual Framework for Safety Planning within Service Delivery for Veterans and their Families’, a project funded with a grant from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust’s One Is Too Many programme.

How to use this Toolkit
The toolkit can be used as a self-assessment measure to help identify good practice, and as a quality improvement tool. The workbook below provides worksheets to undertake this assessment and develop action plans for service improvement.
The toolkit is intended to be used by organisation leaders at system, place and neighbourhood levels, and those stakeholders involved in the design and delivery of services. This includes those in the NHS, local authorities, the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector and representatives of people with lived experience.
